UK cab drivers deny credit card use

I don’t know if I am the only one who is irked by the fact that I cannot use my Vanquis credit cards for bad credit to settle the fares for any taxis I might use. Paying with plastic is fast becoming the standard for goods and services on the high street – I know that it is rare that I will have a significant amount of cash on my person! I think that it is about time that all English cabbies carry a card reading machine on their person, akin to those that are already carried by Southern rail employees on trains.
